For Bali Zoo, it is mainly to experience Orangutans closely. Thinking of breakfast with Orangutans. My plan was to dedicate a day for Bali Zoo (including maybe breakfast with Orangutans) and then head over to the Bird Park. Another day would be staying at Mara River Safari Lodge (along with doing all POSSIBLE activities in a day) Buy a special night visit Bali Zoo tickets. My vote would be Bali Safari and Marine Park. Go for the elephant safari option. I have been to both but did not do the elephant ride at Bali Safari park. Taro I thought very expensive for what it was. Once you have done the ride and had lunch there is not a lot more to do. Safari park is not cheap but IMHO better value overall.
